2020 Film Reel

      The story I was trying to portray through my film reel was Teenage Life. The production roles that best represent my brand are Director and Editor. I occasionally take the role of Cinematographer as well. For this film reel, I only used shots from "The Date". I did this because I wanted to use only shots that I myself had shot, but I would use more material next time because my film reel lacked diversity due to that. On the other hand I used shots throughout my film reel that I felt had the strongest Cinematography, and lighting. I also would add some speaking lines to my film reel if I were to do this again. Even though I only used "The Date" for this film reel, I still took different shots and reorganized then and reedited them so it also showed off my editing talents. I wanted to try and make it feel very different from "The Date" even though I only used shots from my short-film, and I feel like I did that pretty well. Again if I were to do something differently I would add different bodies of work even though I didn't shoot them. Something that I would do the same is my genre of music I choose to go over my shots, as I felt it matched the feel very well. The main thing I need to make my reel feel more complete is more shots. This will make it more diverse and longer.

                                                               My Google Sketch Up House              In Ecomm we created houses in Google Sketch Up. We got plans too a house and recreated it Sketch Up.  It had too be over 500 Square Ft. and it took us over 3 weeks. Once we saved the plans we started building it. I started by measuring out the dimensions and making the base for my house. I then pulled the roof out of the block. Ecom Sidewalk Chalk project

        W E L C O M E T O M Y B L O G ! In Ecomm we had a sidewalk chalk projects to get to know people in our groups. We came together and made something that represented all of us. We spend the first day planning what we were going to create and made  a rough draft. My Group planning what to make The second day we started our final creation. Even though some people in our group put more of what they wanted in the chalk picture some parts of it represented all of us. The colors in our project didn't mean anything we just wanted it to be colorful. Each of the symbols represent things about our selfs. E-Comm Final

 E-Communication has been a fun 4 years, and it is sad to see it end. Takeaways from E-Comm Senior Year Technical Skills - One of the biggest areas of improvements I have had throughout this year of E-Comm is with my editing skills. I've taken on the duties of Editor for many of my projects this year, and I was able to hone my skills and get to a place where I am proud to show off my editing. Communication - Communication was a struggle amongst all students this year with how often we had to switch the schooling style, from all online, to hybrid, to all in person. This made it difficult for us and lead to us having to communicate in different ways, whether it be through E-Mail, text, etc; However I feel like this struggle greatly improved my ability to communicate with other people.
