Vector Illustrated Portrait

                  Pre-Production

For my Vector Illustrated Portrait I chose to do my dog. I chose this picture because I thought it was cute and it was a perfect high Rez photo for the project. When I put it into Illistraitor I had to crop it to fit the art board and I had to create a second one so that I had my original right next to it so I could make sure they both lined up.

Production

There were a lot of new things I learned in photoshop from this project. I learned how to make multiple art boards and how you can how the photo you're working on right next to the original. I also learned how to can just click on a layer to fill the shape. Last I also learned how to effectively use eye dropper tool. One problem I had was not being able to find some of the triangles andI solved it by going back over everything carefully and making sure that I didn't miss them, and I found the ones I was missing.

                Post-Production

I am very pleased with my final product. I feel like it turned out very well. If I was to do this project again I would make the triangles smaller on the outline of the dog so that their aren't any pointy edges. I would also try the other version with the smooth edges.
